Computers are here today because they have transformed every aspect of our lives. This age of information and technology has truly brought about a new way of life. Every day, a modern man confronts this technology, be it in their telephones with unprecedented computer power. This computing power is akin to the entire ability of the North American Missile Launch program in the 60s! This is the wonder of computers, as time goes on the technology gets smaller and more efficient. However as these electronic prices go down, the need for cheaper and cheaper labour soars. This puts us in an interesting position, because for the first time ever in the history of man we live in a society that is completely dependent on the world around them. For example if China or any other exploited Asian county decides to cease export relations with the United States, there would be a complete paradigm shift our way of life as we know it.

Computers have also changed how we communicate, forever gone are the long wait periods between correspondences. Weeks and months would go by before information was formally delivered by scouts and runners. This information crawl has changed the course of history more than we ever could know it. Most infamous is the Roth child buyout of the European stock markets for pennies on the dollar upon the information of Napoleons defeat at Waterloo. This information being brought to him by a paid informer which stayed at the battlefield until it was certain which side was victor. A magnificent sight for those had viewed twos armies clashing without the aid of computerized devices of death.

War for example, at least modern war, is one that is truly fought with technology. The emergence of high tech bombers and stealth aircraft with computerized targeting systems being piloted in Texas by remote control is the future, and it is here. Computers are replacing a lot of the people that perform mundane assembly line tasks which dont relax or need breaks. Computers are amazing because they can take the shape of whatever we choose, with computerized functions and algorithms which process lines of code which tells computers what they should do. At times it can be very difficult to even get a job because so many jobs that we used to perform have either become extinct like the dinosaur, or replaced by a robot willing to work for nothing.

Computers are in our cars too, and much like how we transport ourselves today, we will find that cars will soon be driving us to our destinations. These cars will know when to turn, how to drive, how close to follow and be extremely important for the future of living and moving about. These self driving cars will cause great societal change as transportation is streamlined and traffic jams will be products of the past. It will be interesting when one day we know of people who have been driving their whole life and have never taken manual control of the car. Driving will be dominated by these smart computers which are in communication with multiple satellites and other cars. Much like how the Nintendo 3DS communicates with other 3DS devices, people will see their cars communicate with other vehicles on the road. Constantly talking and exchanging information to keep up to date with each others locations and speeds.

Times are truly coming to a unique standpoint; one wonders if the human race will allow itself to be completely transformed to cope with the technology being presented to them. For example, when it is that people in the third world attempt... and that is something that we will never know. There still are people that lived very little changed from the time of their parents. They live in a truly disconnected world that we grew up in, revelling in the antiquities of the past embracing a certain lost life style.
